Project 1: Lighting techniques. For this project we had two use two different forms of light (strobe and continuous) to see how it effects each image. I chose one of my friends to use for this project. I learned throughout this that certain types of light are better then others. I prefer flash over continuous because it creates a better light for the image. However I like using them both at the same time, so continuous and flash at the same.

Project 2: Diagetic lighting. For this project we had to use an outside sources of light such as car headlights, flashlights, phone lights etc. My goal was to use my car and an additional light source such as a work light to get these images. It was a cohesive story of having my friends model on in a parking garage to see what the light would do. They came out as I expected and I am very proud of this project.

Project 3: Food! For this project we had to take pictures of food. I know it sounds exciting but it was a tough project for me personally. We had to get food and take interesting pictures of the food using different lighting techniques. Throughout this project, I learned how to use strobe light more effectively to get the image and angles that I wanted. Im very proud of the images that I produced!

Project 4: Study an artist. This project might be my favorite, we had to pick a local artist to study and photograph their work. I enjoyed this because I got to work with my tattoo artist and I absolutely love his work and him as a general person. The idea of this project was to take pictures of you chosen artist works and then present them in critique. Im very proud of this set of images because it really shows the who process of getting a tattoo, and I had a chance to show up some of my editing skills during this process.
